Bottlecap Magnets and Thumbtacks

This fun DIY project for couples allows you to use personal pictures for cool refrigerator magnets or thumbtacks. You can recycle your bottle caps with this straightforward and inexpensive DIY project. You'll need bottle caps, buttons, adhesive and magnets.

Framed Leaf

You can start this project after a romantic walk in a place with pretty leaves. You can make a very simple autumn decoration with a framed pressed leaf.

You only need a few supplies for this project, and it's super quick. You need two frames and a leaf that you like. If you want to make your press leaves, collect leaves from outside, then press them between wax paper and underneath some heavy books. It takes several weeks to do that, and if you feel too lazy, you can buy a whole portfolio full of pre-press leaves online.

Melt Old Candles to Make New Candles

Making your own candles is an easy and fun DIY project for couples. The steps are relatively simple, and it is something you can do multiple times with your partner as you use the candles you make.

All you need is the following:

  • Wax
  • Wicks
  • Fragrance
  • A glass container, and
  • A double boiler

Homemade Photo Coasters

Coasters are easy and fun DIY projects for couples. This is a challenging project due to the drying time between the coats of Mod Podge, but it is very simple!

Supplies you need:

  • Tiles
  • Pictures
  • Mod Podge
  • Sponge Brush
  • Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Clear Enamel Spray
  • Felt Pads
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Ruler

You can start by cleaning the tile surface with Isopropyl Alcohol. Try not to touch the surface of the tile after cleaning. After that, let the tiles dry for just a minute before placing the picture on top. Again, try to avoid touching the surface.

You'll need to trim down the picture to fit the tile, measure the tiles using a pencil and clean off the edges. Cut your pictures on the lines. Use a sponge brush to add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the tile.

Then carefully add your image to the top. After this step, add a thin layer of Mod Podge over the picture. The Mod Podge will dry clear. You will still see faint lines, but this effect looks beautiful for the finished product.

  • LED strip (any length and color you want)

You can put the lead anywhere in your room and stick it. Also, you need to put a switch next to the led to turn it on and off.

Coffee Bean Topiary Trees

A beautiful tree made with coffee beans: Coffee lovers will love this!

Materials you need:

  • Styrofoam ball
  • Rope
  • Glue
  • Coffee beans
  • Any object in stick form (a tree branch, bamboo stalk, etc.)
  • Flowerpot (you can also use glass, mug, etc.)
  • Plaster

You should wrap the rope around the styrofoam ball so that the coffee beans stick to the ball better. Glue the coffee beans onto the string. When the ball is half finished, place the ball in a glass to dry. When the ball is completely dry, do the second part.

Leave a 1 cm space here because we will put a stem. Stick the stem with a strong adhesive without damaging the coffee beans. Prepare the plaster mix in the object we will use as a flowerpot and put the tree in it. Lean the coffee tree against the wall to dry.

The seashell wreath is perfect for your beach house or nautical decor. This shell wreath beach craft project is so simple that you can create your seashell wreath on the weekend or in the afternoon while having a good time with your partner.

You can use shells you brought home from the beach or buy an assortment of different spiral shells, starfish, sand dollars and clamshells online.

DIY Concrete Hands

What a great keepsake for your family! You can buy kits (buckets) to make your hand sculpture easy and nice. Comfortably two to three hands can fit in it.

The process takes two to three hours to set but doing the mould and putting in the plaster, let's say, takes 10 minutes. So, super fast, super easy to follow instructions.

Spice Shelf

If you use spices a lot, you have acquired many little bottles of flavour that have been jammed into the cabinet. The solution is this super easy-making DIY spice shelf!

Firstly clean your cabinets because we know that every time you use spices, they get on the bottom of your cabinet. After cleaning, cut three pieces of the 2x4 wood to the exact width you measured. Stack the second 2x4 on the first and insert the third 2x4 in front of the double stack. Finally, insert spices, organize them and enjoy.
